Using your OneCard around campus.
The Pittsburgh Technical Institute OneCard program, powered
by the Give Something Back NetworkSM, provides students, faculty and staff
the convenience of
carrying just one card for many of your needs around campus. Your
OneCard functions as a campus ID card as well as an FDIC-insured, prepaid card that
works like cash on and off campus. No fees are charged for purchases or cash back
at participating
merchants.*
Your OneCard can be used for:

Activate your OneCard.
- Call 866.573.0805 and follow the voice prompts to activate your card.
Your temporary password (access code) is the last four digits of the 16-digit
card number printed on the front of your card.
Record (but don't share) your four-digit PIN — required when you make a purchase
at participating merchants — and your 4 to 6-digit password (access code) — needed to log in to your
account by phone, view transaction history, report a lost card or change your address online.
Manage your account online.
To manage your account online, log in to your account at the top of this page.
- If you have not successfully logged in to your account before, select "Card Number" from the drop-down list in the log in box and enter the 16-digit card number on the front of your card and the 4 to 6-digit password (access code) you created on the phone.
- If you have successfully logged in to your account online before, select "User ID" from the drop-down list in the log in box and enter your user ID and web password.
Once you have successfully logged in to your account:
1. Click the "My Donation Value" box and select "Distribution Setup" to choose which participating nonprofits you want to support – at no extra cost to you.
2. Click "Add Value to Card" to add funds to your card/tag with a credit/debit card or via bank transfer.
Plus, grant your family and/or friends permission to add value to your account by clicking on the "Family & Friends" link in the "My GSB Account" box.
3. Explore the rest of the site! You can:
- View your balance, reload and transaction history
- View your donation values and distribution setup
- Report a lost or stolen card/tag
- Manage your profile
- Change your address
- And more…
Add funds to your OneCard.

Grant your family and/or friends permission to add value to your account by visiting the "Family & Friends" link in the "My GSB Account" box.
- In person:
Visit the Accounting Office, Room 322 (cash only)
Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 - 11 am and 2 - 4 pm.

*There is no fee to check your balance from a vending machine
*There is no fee to add funds online from a checking account
Report a lost or stolen card.
To report a lost or stolen card, call 866.573.0805 or log in†
above and click the "Report lost card" link. Also notify PTI Security at 412.809.5300.
For your security, if your card is lost or stolen, it is deactivated. Don't worry
— your funds are safe — but you must get a replacement card at the PTI Bookstore.
You'll need to activate your replacement card over the phone.

Your first PTI OneCard is provided to you at no cost. There is a $10 replacement fee if your card is lost or stolen.

Give something. Get something. With the Give Something Back Network.
Heartland Payment Systems' Give Something Back (GSB) Network is a growing, nationwide
network of sponsoring organizations, merchants and donation recipients that makes
it easy to support your community while you do something routine — make purchases
with your OneCard.
If you're on the go or out of town, remember you can use your OneCard to make
purchases wherever the OneCard or Give Something Back Network logo is displayed.

For every purchase you make at a participating merchant with your OneCard, the
Give Something Back Network "returns" 1.5% of the purchase price to you. One-third
of that 1.5% will be automatically donated to Pittsburgh Technical Institute
— the sponsoring organization of your OneCard. You can donate the remaining
1% to the PTI Student Activities Fund — or select other
eligible nonprofits to support when you set up your OneCard account online. Alternatively,
you can elect to receive 1% cash back — that's money back in your wallet.
